I love those star shaped leaves.. sweet gum, I think. Did you see the post over at Our Little Nature nest where they made crayon rubbings of the leaves, cut them out, drew little faces on them and then used brads to make garlands out of the cut outs. They are so, so cute! Your photos are, as always, fantastic.

Thank you! Yes, sweet gum or liquidambar. We have one in our front yard and I love the leaves but dislike the spiky balls it makes. I’ll check out Our Little Nature Nest!
