And More Colors of Autumn
Dappled, fading Japanese maple in the late afternoon sun
November sunset
Brilliant pokeweed stem in the woods
Rosehips in my garden
Sunrise over the Waldorf school’s woods
The last of the cherry leaves on the tree
Thanksgiving frost on my canas
Sunlight through the plum tree

Autumn is gone, gone gone here. We had a little snow last week and a couple days of very cold weather. Some woods near my house had blindingly bright orange and yellow leaves three weeks ago. Today, all brown. I guess a late autumn is one of the joys of California, eh? I love our moderate summers so I don’t complain 🙂

Yes, Alyss, we still have vivid colors in the leaves and trees here. But we’re also getting frosty cold mornings. It most likely won’t snow here at all. We’ll have to drive into the mountains to visit the snow. Hope you’re enjoying the cold outside and cozy warmth inside.
