Thanks for visiting! I’m Sara, editor and writer, wife to Ian, and mother of two precious boys. I am living each day to the fullest and with as much grace, creativity, and patience as I can muster. This is where I write about living, loving, and engaging fully in family life and the world around me. I let my hair down here. I learn new skills here. I strive to be a better human being here. And I tell the truth.
Our children attend Waldorf school and we are enriching our home and family life with plenty of Waldorf-inspired festivals, crafts, and stories.

Hehe, thanks. She (or he) contributes to the Pebble Stacking flickr pool I subscribe to. She even annotated one of the pics I submitted to the group 🙂 Some of those folks are amazing.
I went up to the Ranch in Coarsegold over the weekend and Nada (NAY-dah) the Matriarch gave me a report on how long each stack lasted and told me the story of the man whose grave I made a stack on last time.

I guess it’s a he – Renaldi. The annotations on that particular image and the disbelieving comments below (search for photshop) are hilarious. And they reflect my feelings the first time I saw someone balancing things like that years ago.
It’s all about the fractal geometry, kids…
