About Sara
Thanks for visiting! I’m Sara, editor and writer, wife to Ian, and mother of two precious boys. I am living each day to the fullest and with as much grace, creativity, and patience as I can muster. This is where I write about living, loving, and engaging fully in family life and the world around me. I let my hair down here. I learn new skills here. I strive to be a better human being here. And I tell the truth.
Our children attend Waldorf school and we are enriching our home and family life with plenty of Waldorf-inspired festivals, crafts, and stories.

With a view! And candles! I’m jealous (from a girl who looks at grey upholstery and fluorescent lights all day long). And I love you.

Yeah, the window is nice. Although before 9:30 a.m. this morning, I couldn’t see my monitor for all the sunshine. The space is a work in progress. I’m not the least bit organized yet, but the major items are moved. I have a wall of bookshelves to my left. With the addition of a nice chair, it could be a cozy space. Trouble is, I feel exposed and distracted by the family noise. I hope I get used to it.

Hm, I think your idea about fabric could work really well — as a screen on your shelves, in the window to filter light, and maybe even somehow wrapping/insulating the space. I’m happy to help. Let’s put our heads together once the holiday is over?
